The Emporia High Track and Field teams had 8 top 3 finishes at the Lansing Invitational Friday.
Elizabeth Willhite won the 1600 meter run and finished 3rd in the 800.
She was also part of the 4 by 800 relay with Allison Curtis, Maryn True, and Damia Zapata that finished 3rd.
Journey Walburn finished 2nd and Kalia Kesybounheaung placed 3rd in the pole vault.
Alexa Shively finished 3rd in the Triple Jump.
For the boys, Kyle Obermeyer finished in 2nd place in the 110 hurdles. Fred Jackson finished 3rd in the 400-meter dash.
In the team standings, the girls finished in 5th place and the boys finished in 8th place out of 12 teams.
