The Emporia State baseball team begins a busy week Monday. They will be playing 5 games over the next 7 days.
Monday the Hornets host Northwestern Oklahoma State. The first pitch is set for 3 pm at Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports complex.
Tuesday they will play Rockhurst. Beginning Friday they play a 3 game series at Missouri Western.
With 6 MIAA games left the Hornets are in 9th place in the MIAAA standings, 2 games back of Newman. The top 8 teams will advance to the MIAA Tournament.
