Frosty conditions are back in place for parts of the KVOE listening area Tuesday morning.
Most area counties are either in a freeze warning or frost advisory. The freeze warning involves Osage and Wabaunsee counties until 9 am, with a frost advisory for Lyon, Coffey and Morris counties also until 9 am. Temperatures may drop to just above freezing in the frost advisory counties and get as low as 30 degrees for those counties in the freeze warning.
Later this week, the main weather concern is a low-level severe weather risk. Marginal risk areas affect the area along and east of the Kansas Turnpike for Wednesday, while all area counties are under a marginal risk for Thursday. Hail and wind are the main issues for Wednesday and hail is the lead concern for Thursday.
