The Emporia State football team closes out spring practices with their Spring Finale Friday night. Coach Garin Higgins says it will be a chance to preview the 2022 Hornet Football team.
The Spring Finale will be held at Welch Stadium beginning at 7 pm.
Emporia State has also released the 2022 football schedule.
The Season kicks off on September 1st, a Thursday, at home against Northeastern State.
In week 2 they play at Central Oklahoma.
The Hornets will also be hosting Missouri Western on September 17th and Pittsburg State on September 24th.
Central Missouri on October 8th, Fort Hays State on October 29th and close out the regular season at home against Northwest Missouri State on November 12th.
