Lyon County Deputies, Lyon County EMS and Hartford Neosho Rapids first responders were called to a two vehicle collision in Hartford Tuesday.
According to Lyon County Deputy Chuck Moore, the accident occurred at the intersection of Mechanic St. and Park Ave. in Hartford at approximately 3:35 pm. 44-year-old Elizabeth Smith of Hartford was traveling northbound on Mechanic when she collided with an eastbound vehicle on Park driven by 18-year-old Destiny Dischert.
Both drivers refused medical transport, however, Dischert later went by private vehicle to Newman Regional Health with undisclosed injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
