Daniel Lynch was the winning pitcher. He pitched 6 innings gave up 2 hits and struck out 7.
Taylor Clark pitched a scoreless 7th and Brady Singer pitched 2 scoreless innings.
The Royals scored 2 runs in the 4th inning on a single by Bobby Witt Jr and a ground out by Adalberto Mondesi.
The Royals scored 4 runs in the 6th. Carlos Santana had the big hit driving in 2 runs with a single.
Mondesi did leave Tuesday night’s game with an injury. Manager Mike Matheny called it a sore knee.
The Royals and White Sox play again this afternoon. Zack Greinke will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 1:10 pm.
