The Chicago White Sox outscored the Kansas City Royals 7-3 Wednesday.
The White Sox broke a 3-3 tie scoring 3 runs in the 7th on an Andrew Vaughn 3 run home run and added a run in the 8th.
Whit Merrifield drove in 2 runs and Andrew Benintendi drove in a run for the Royals.
The Royals and White Sox wrap up their 3 game series Thursday afternoon. Brad Keller will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 1:10 pm.
The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
Adalberto Mondesi is expected to be placed on the Injured List after an MRI found structural damage to his knee, according to several reports.
Mondesi appeared to tweak his knee Tuesday night.
