The Emporia High boys golf team did play half of the State Preview Tournament at Winfield Wednesday. The Tournament was halted due to weather and the final scores were based on 9 holes played.
As a team, Emporia High finished in 5th place out of 11 teams. Kapaun Mt Carmel finished 1st, St. James Academy was 2nd, and Bishop Carroll 3rd.
Individually Brooks Sauder tied for 5th place at plus 1.
The Emporia High boys golf team will host a tournament on Monday. It will be the final tune-up before regionals.
