It was not a good start to the MIAA tournament for the Emporia State softball team Thursday. They were no-hit by Washburn 8-0.
Washburn scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning and ended the game with 4 runs in the 5th inning.
Emporia State will play Northeastern State Friday in an elimination game Friday.
Northeastern State was shut out by Missouri Western 4-0.
Rogers State slipped past Missouri Southern 2-1.
Nebraska Kearney outscored Central Oklahoma 4-3.
