The Emporia State baseball team opens MIAA Tournament play Friday with the first game in a best of 3 series at Central Missouri.
Senior first baseman Chandler Bloomer says they are looking forward to the challenge.
5 members of the baseball team have been named to the All MIAA team.
Catcher T.J. Racherbaumer was named the freshman of the year. He is also a 3rd team selection.
Also on the 3rd team Pitcher Jared Kengott, Outfielder Sam Chaput, and Blake Carroll as a utility player.
Pitcher Aaron Bechtel earned an honorable mention.
