Emporia States baseball season ended Saturday with a 15-5 loss at Central Missouri in the MIAA Tournament Saturday.
The Hornets had taken a 5-2 lead in the 4th inning scoring 4 runs on an error, sacrifice fly and a 2 run home run by Sam Chaput.
Central Missouri would erupt for 11 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to take a lead they would not give up.
The Hornets finish the season with a 21-31 record.
