The Emporia High baseball, softball and girls soccer teams play their regional games Tuesday.
The baseball team plays at Topeka Seaman. The Spartans were swept by Seaman during the regular season. Senior Hunter Redeker says they will need to play a good all-around game.
The winner will play either Hays or Maize in the regional championship game.
The softball team opens against Kapaun Mt. Carmel at Valley Center.
The Lady Spartans defeated Kapaun 2-1 in the Spartan Classic. Senior Caitlyn Meyers says they like their chances of advancing.
The winner will play either Valley Center or Arkansas City in the regional championship game.
The girls’ soccer team plays at Hays. Emporia High Coach Oscar Macias says the key is to knock them off their rhythm.
The winner advances to the Regional Championship match against either Great Bend or Andover.
