Emmanuel Rivera tripled in the 6th inning, driving in a run and scored on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Isbell to give the Royals a 4-2 lead.
M.J. Melendez hit a two-run home run in the 8th to give the Royals a 6-2 lead.
The Royals and White Sox wrap up their 5 game series Thursday afternoon. Carlos Hernandez will be the starting pitcher for the Royals, first pitch is set for 1:10 pm.
