Budget season begins this week for the Lyon County Commission.
During a study meeting Wednesday, commissioners will field budget requests from the Emporia Public Library, SOS, County Treasurer and County Clerk.
So far, the only other items on the agenda are executive sessions, one each for non-elected personnel and legal matters.
The meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse Commission Chambers. Emporia city commissioners don’t meet again until June 1.
