Emporia States Jace McDown has been named a finalist for the MIAAs Ken B. Jones Award.
The award recognizes the top Male and Female Student-athletes from the MIAA.
Jace is Emporia State football’s only three-time Academic All-American and the leading tackler in the MIAA over the last three seasons.
He was named Emporia State’s Outstanding Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2019-20 and 2021-22.
He was also the fall Ken B. Jones Award recipient for 2019-2020.
8 other Emporia State Student-athletes have received the Ken B. Jones Award.
Winners will be announced on June 6th.
