Emporia Police are looking for the person allegedly involved in stealing an SUV from a west Emporia neighborhood, and officers are asking for the public’s help in solving this case.
Police Capt. Lisa Hayes says a maroon 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was apparently stolen from a driveway on Holiday Drive early Monday. Three nearby vehicles were also burglarized in the same timetable — possibly 1-5 am Monday — and Hayes says officers believe the crimes are related.
Suspect information has one male, possible Caucasian, as allegedly involved. Additional information is pending as the investigation continues.
The vehicle has an Alabama front license plate with KU and Alabama stickers on the back.
