Kids Koncerts will begin soon at the Emporia Public Library.
The 2022 concert schedule begins June 1 with Brian Wendling, Aqua Juggler, and follows weekdays through June 29:
*June 8 — Janie Next Door
*June 15 — Richard Renner the Vodvill Klown
*June 22 — Drum Safari with Brandon Draper
*June 29 — Mr. Stinky Feet’s Beach Party
Concerts are planned for the library courtyard starting at noon but will move to the White Auditorium Little Theater if there is inclement weather.
Meanwhile, the library will also have its Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration from 3-4:30 pm Tuesday. Games like limbo and a scavenger hunt will be part of the activities, as well as beach photo opportunities and snacks as residents sign up for the summer reading program — which goes June 1 to July 31.
