Less than a month remains before USD 253 Emporia Public Schools welcomes the public to a brand-new facility.
The district has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Jones Early Childhood Development Center at 327 Walnut. The facility replaces Maynard Early Childhood Center and is part of the district’s nearly $80 million Building for the Future bond initiative for renovations and new construction.
The event will also include refreshments and a self-guided tour of the facility.
The event is at 3 pm June 22.
