The Kansas City Royals improved their winning streak to three after an 8-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles Friday night.
The Royals opened the scoring with three runs in the first inning thanks to an RBI single by Andrew Benintendi and a two-run home run by Salvador Perez. Perez added an RBI double in the third, AJ Melendez added a three-run home run in the fifth and Michael A Taylor homered in the sixth to round out the Royal’s scoring.
Baltimore scored their lone run off a solo home-run in the ninth by Anthony Santander. The Royals and Orioles continue their series this afternoon.
