4 Area High School basketball players played in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star games.
In the girls’ game, the Gold team outscored the Blue team 96-85. Emporia Highs Gracie Gilpin played on the Gold team and finished with 6 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound.
The Blue team, Coached by Olpe Coach Chris Schmidt, won the game 95-89. Lyndons Toby Miller scored 15 points and Olpes Derek Hoelting scored 6 points for the Blue team. Burlingame’s Trever Quiney scored 3 points for the Gold team.
