Despite two extra days in the reporting period, Lyon County’s latest COVID-19 announcement didn’t have a sizeable increase in numbers.
Lyon County Public Health reported 27 new cases from Friday to Wednesday. Monday’s report was delayed after a waterline break underneath CareArc’s main parking lot.
Deaths remained flat at 124. Lyon County is now at 10,600 total cases since the pandemic started in March 2020.
Areawide, Osage County recently passed 4,000 cases, the second-most in the area. Chase County is still under 700 cases for the fewest areawide.
