In a way, the season for the Jones Aquatic Center begins anew Friday.
The facility will open up the lazy river, slides and the splash pad for the first time this season when the pool opens.
The center as a whole opened during the Memorial Day weekend, but only the pool has been available up until now. Supply-based maintenance issues have kept the other components closed.
