The MAYB tournament that was scheduled for this weekend in Emporia has been canceled. Not enough teams were pre-registered for this weekend.
Even though they will not be playing in a tournament this weekend, new Emporia High boys basketball coach Lee Baldwin says it has been a good summer.
Coach Baldwin says the focus has been on improving fundamentals.
The Emporia High boys basketball team has played in several tournaments this summer and Coach Baldwin says he is encouraged by what he has seen.
Emporia is scheduled to host another MAYB tournament on July 8-9-10th.
