All in all, the holiday weekend — to this point — has been relatively calm.
Lyon County Emergency Communications reports a handful of complaints after the 11 pm cutoff and none since midnight.
Emporia Fire is reporting two dumpster fires and a brush pile fire from Sunday, all of which are apparently fireworks-related. There were no injuries associated with any of the fires Sunday.
Lyon County’s fireworks sales and discharge window is from 10 am to 11 pm Monday. Fireworks are also allowed across Lyon County from 10 am to 10 pm Tuesday. Fireworks are disallowed starting Wednesday.
