The Emporia Senior Spartan baseball team swept a doubleheader from the Lyon County Baseball Club Wednesday night.
The Spartans won the first game 11-1. Vance Kinsey led the offense going 3 for 3 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Owen Ruge and Madden Seidl were both 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored.
Hunter Redeker was the winning pitcher.
The Spartans won the 2nd game 3-1 behind the pitching of Owen Ruge who gave up the 1 run on 1 hit and struck out 15.
The Senior Spartans will next play at Iola on Monday.
