The United Way of the Flint Hills has named its co-chairs for the 2022 fundraising campaign.
KVOE Program Director Scott Hayes and Emporia Police Captain Lisa Hayes will be overseeing the campaign this year. Scott Hayes says they both are extremely honored to have been selected to serve the community in this capacity.
Lisa Hayes says in addition to raising funds, being as available and present as possible is one of her main priorities throughout the campaign.
The United Way Campaign collects funds to support community agencies across Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Morris, Osage, Wabaunsee and Woodson counties. For more information on the United Way Campaign, visit UWFH.org/donate.
The United Way will host its campaign kickoff event on Aug. 18.
