Chances of thunderstorm activity are low Monday night, but any storms that develop could be strong to borderline severe.
All area counties are in a marginal severe weather risk for hail and wind, according to the Storm Prediction Center.
If storms develop, they would likely be triggered by an approaching cold front that will drop our high temperatures from the upper 90s Monday to upper 80s Tuesday. Relief will be short-lived, with highs in the mid-90s as soon as Thursday and possibly continuing through the upcoming weekend.
