At the US Marine Corps, 16U and Junior Nationals wrestling tournament in Fargo, North Dakota Emporian Maddie Griffin was 1-2 in 3 matches Tuesday.
She lost her first-round match to Janida Garcia of California 12-0. She received a bye in the consolations first round.
She won in the 2nd round of consolations 9-2 over Madeline Barton of Missouri. In the consolation 3rd round Maddie was defeated by Rylee Bennett of Tennessee 8-4.
