Emporia Golfers complete round one of Match Play Championship

5 Emporia Golfers are paying in the Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship at Newtons Sand Creek Station.
After the 1st round, Gentry Scheve is 1 under par and tied for 18th place.
Caleb Schmid is 2 over and is tied for 51st place.
Chase Coble is 3 over and tied for 61st place.
Caden Massey and Brooks Sauder are both at 5 over par and tied for 92nd place.
There is a 4-way tie for first place at 4 under par.
The 2nd round of stroke play takes place Wednesday with the 64 lowest scores advancing to match play beginning Thursday.
