Two Emporia Golfers have advanced to match play at the Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship being played at Newtons Sand Creek Station.
Chase Coble finished stroke play tied for 46th place and will face Zach Sokolosky of Wichita in his first match play match.
Gentry Scheve finished tied for 52nd place and will play Caleb Kimmel of Olathe in his first match play match.
Caleb Schmid, Brooks Sauder, and Caden Massey missed the cut.
Brooks Sauder and Caden Massey will be 2 of 8 Emporia golfers who will play in the Kansas Junior Tour Championship Tournament beginning Monday at the Emporia Golf Course.
Also entered in the tournament are Nolan Jacob, Hudson Sauder, Chesney Erkle, Avary Eckert, Olivia Eckert, and Elise Eckert.
94 golfers are entered in the tournament.
