Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most business owners grew accustomed to battling COVID-19 fatigue. Now, many are trying to overcome fatigue in general.
That’s one of the main reasons given by Twin Rivers Wine and Gourmet Shop co-owner Becky Smith as to why the business will be closing its doors in early September.
Twin Rivers opened back in November of 2015. An exact date for the closure has not yet been announced, however, the business has stated all gift certificates will need to be redeemed by Sept. 1.
Any and all rentals of the space for the month of August will be honored and Twin Rivers currently has sales for most items ongoing with some fixtures and decorations set to be sold off before the business closes its doors.
As for the future of the building, Smith says that will be up to its owners Rex and Debbie Williams. No plans for a new use of the building have been announced at this time.
