The Kansas Junior Golf Tour Championship tournament began Monday at the Emporia Golf Course.
After first-round play in the boys 16 and over division, Caden Massey is tied for 4th place after his even-par 71.
Brooks Sauder is tied for 20th place with a 75.
Easton Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri finished the first round with a 9 under par 62.
In the boys 13-15 age division Nolan Jacob is tied for 5th place, he finished with a 77.
Hudson Sauder is tied for 15th place with an 80.
In the boys’ prep division, Chesney Erkle is in 9th place with a 53.
In the girls 13-15 age group, Elise Eckert is in 5th place with a 90.
In the girls 16 and over division Olivia and Avary Eckert were tied for 3rd place, both finished the first round with 81s.
The Tournament wraps up Tuesday.
