Two area law enforcement agencies were among several involved in a special narcotics investigation recently.
The Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with Junction City Police for a three-day operation that led to “numerous” arrests in Wabaunsee County and the seizure of over 120 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value approaching $4.5 million. The Sheriff’s Office says the narcotics seizures happened as part of several cases.
Names of those arrested have not been released.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office was among the agencies involved at the city or county level. The US Department of Homeland Security was also involved.
