After blistering heat this past weekend and Monday, conditions are much more pleasant.
Temperatures went above 100 degrees for three straight days — 102 Saturday and 103 for both Sunday and Monday. Temperatures should stay below 90 degrees for most of the week ahead, including Tuesday’s projected high of 79 degrees.
Rain chances are part of the picture at times this week. The best chance is Tuesday, with a moderate chance of showers and non-severe storms. Slight chances of showers and storms return Friday and stay in the forecast into early next week.
