The Kansas City Royals were shut out for the second consecutive game against the Minnesota Twins Wednesday afternoon, 4-0.
Daniel Lynch had a quality start by going six innings, allowing four runs on five hits, and had two strikeouts.
Salvador Perez and Vinnie Pasquantino combined for four of the Royals’ six hits.
The Royals head to Tampa Bay to face the Rays for the first of a four-game series Thursday at 6:10 p.m.
Manager Mike Matheny has not announced a starter for Thursday’s game. Brad Keller was scheduled to start but will be moving to the bullpen.
