The PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships began Tuesday in Emporia.
Kristin Tattar, who won the Dynamic Discs Open in May, is the first-round leader in the women’s open division. She finished the first round at 10 under par at Jones Park Supreme.
In the men’s open division 5 players share the lead in pool A at 10 under par after the first round at Jones Supreme. Garrett Gurthie, Aaron Gossage, Eagle Wynne McMahon, Anthony Barela, and Vaino Makela all finished their first rounds at 10 under par. Tristen Tanner leads pool B after a 13 under par at the Emporia Country Club.
