Storm chances for Friday have been compressed and moved to Friday night into early Saturday.
Initially, the forecast called for slight chances of showers and storms beginning Friday afternoon. The latest forecast has removed the chance of activity in the afternoon and early evening hours.
The current forecast has also added a marginal risk of wind up to 60 mph for storms along and mainly west of the Kansas Turnpike. Another slight chance of showers is in the forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening, but the rest of the Labor Day weekend looks to be dry.
