The Halfway to Everywhere Music and Arts Festival officially begins Saturday, but folks had a chance to get a sneak peek at the level of musicianship to come with a preview concert Friday night.
All From Nothing, Daydream and Recycled Funk performed as part of Halfway’s concert in conjunction with the Emporia First Friday Artwalk and the Pro Disc Golf Association World Championships Flywart in the Farmers Market parking lot.
Music officially starts at 1 pm on the ESU stage in the Radius parking lot and the Radius stage inside the brewery, with music starting at 2 pm at the KVOE stage in the 10 block of West Seventh, Visit Emporia stage on the north side of the Farmers Market parking lot and Bourbon Cowboy stage inside. Thirty-five acts are performing Saturday. Also, over 30 vendors are part of the art expo.
