The Americus woman facing a federal indictment on alleged child pornography activity waived the formal reading of her charges at an arraignment hearing this month.
Brandi Snyder, 34, faces two counts of producing child porn, along with single counts of possession and distribution.
The court affidavit indicates federal investigators were made aware of illegal Snapchat activity on two different accounts after at least two “cybertips,” one this past November and one this past October, Those tips led to around 20 total images, as well as two videos revolving around prepubescent girls.
Snyder’s next hearing date has not been publicized. She faces 15-30 years in federal prison if convicted of producing child pornography, as well as up to 20 years each on the possession and distribution counts.
