A Topeka man is facing several alleged drug charges following an arrest in Osage County Monday.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 11200 block of South Topeka Avenue, north of Carbondale, just before 5 pm. During the stop, illegal narcotics were allegedly discovered inside the suspect vehicle.
The driver, 45-year-old Terrance Ruble of Topeka was arrested on several charges including:
* Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
* Possession of depressants with intent to distribute
* Unlawful possession of a prescription drug
* Possession of drug paraphernalia
* Possession of marijuana
* No liability insurance
* Driving while license suspended
Ruble was taken to the Osage County Jail and is awaiting formal charges at last word.
