The Kansas City Chiefs rallied and held on for a 27-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday night.
The Chiefs trailed until Jaylen Watson returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown in the 4th quarter. That gave the Chiefs a 24-17 lead.
Patrick Mahomes threw 2 touchdown passes one each to Justin Watson and one to Jerick McKinnon. Matt Ammendola, filling in for the injured Harrison Butker, added 2 field goals.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert did throw 3 touchdown passes and the big pick 6.
The Chiefs improve to 2-0 for the season. They play at Indianapolis next Sunday.
