Breadsticks, salad, spaghetti and…no balls?
Spaying, neutering, and general medical care for your pets is important. The Friends of the Emporia Animal Shelter, or FEAS, conveyed this message through their third annual Spay-ghetti and No-Balls fundraiser at the Lyon County fairgrounds on Sunday.
The event was previously hosted as a sit-in dinner, but transitioned into a drive-through format after the events of Covid-19 and has since continued as such according to spokesperson Deb Ghere.
The evening’s menu included a plate of spaghetti, salad, breadsticks, and dessert. In addition to being the third annual event, it is also the last event under the FEAS name. The organization announced Sunday they are changing their name.
More information regarding the name change will be released at a later date. Totals from the Spay-Ghetti and No-Balls fundraiser are pending.
