Another vehicle tag deadline is coming soon for certain Lyon County drivers this week.
Drivers with last names beginning with letters P, Q and R need to renew tags by Friday or else pay financial penalties.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm at the Lyon County Motor Vehicle Office in the County Courthouse. Residents need to provide current proof of insurance and a valid Kansas ID.
County Treasurer Sharon Gaede says residents can use the QLess system by using the kiosk outside the Motor Vehicle Office, downloading the QLess app, visiting the Quick Links section at www.lyoncounty.org or by texting Lyon County Motor Vehicle to 620-254-9998.
