One man will be in Lyon County District Court on Wednesday on charges including attempted murder.
Phillip Leonard Trump, 38, faces one count of attempted first-degree murder with an alternate count of aggravated battery. He also faces three counts of battery against law enforcement.
Case details have not been announced, but Trump is accused of trying to kill a woman in late August. He’s also accused of physical contact against three different Emporia Police officers.
The hearing is at 9 am.
Separately, a preliminary hearing awaits for a man accused of drug distribution in Lyon County.
Austin Buckridge, 24, is charged with distributing cocaine and marijuana as well as possessing paraphernalia with intent to manufacture controlled substances after an alleged incident in late July. Other case details have not been announced.
A hearing is at 9 am Wednesday in Lyon County District Court.
