More than 50 individuals took aim and took their best shot during the fifth annual Gary Fuller Memorial Shootout Saturday morning.
This year’s shootout nearly doubled in size from 2021 which brought a smile to the face of organizer Lisa Fuller.
Fuller says not only is the event itself growing but so is the reach that the funds generated through the competition. Originally used to fund 4H activities, Fuller says she is expanding to other organizations such as FAA as beneficiaries of the event.
The shootout is held in memory of Gary Fuller who died in an accident back in 2014. Prior to his death, Fuller was known as an avid lover of 4H activities both as a competitor in his youth and supporter in adulthood. Lisa Fuller says if Gary could see the event today she believes he would think it was “awesome.”
Final totals from the shootout will be announced at a later time.
