The Kansas City Chiefs rallied for a 20-17 overtime win over the Tennessee Titans last night.
The Chiefs scored the game’s first 9 points on a Harrison Butker field goal and a touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman.
Tennessee would score the next 17 points to take a 17-9 lead.
The Chiefs tied the game on a Patrick Mahomes 14-yard touchdown run and a 2-point conversion run with just over 2 minutes to play.
In the overtime, Harrison Butker kicked a 28-yard field goal to give the Chiefs the lead. The Chiefs’ defense would hold the Titans for the win.
Patrick Mahomes would complete 43 passes for 446 yards a touchdown and an interception. Mahomes also led the team in rushing finishing with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Mahomes moves past Trent Green for number 2 in Chiefs history for most passing yards in a career. He has now thrown for 21,596 yards.
The Chiefs are now 6-2 for the season and are tied with the Buffalo Bills for the best record in the AFC.
The Chiefs will host Jacksonville next Sunday.
