Lyon County commissioners have a lot on their agenda for their action meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will start their business by possibly approving letters of support for grants involving CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness and Hetlinger Developmental Services.
Also:
*Human Resources Director Janice Huffman will present a drug and alcohol and telecommuting policy for approval
*County Engineer Chip Woods will present a resolution to post weight limits on two bridges due to federal changes
*County Appraiser Ryan Janzen will present the ESRI contract for renewal
*BG Consultants principal Bruce Boettcher will discuss plans to set a bid date and time for shop improvements at the Lyon County Highway Department complex
*County Clerk Tammy Vopat will present a nearly $13,500 invoice involving Carrot-Top Industries and the purchase of bronze markers for veterans buried in Lyon County
Commissioners could also approve the purchase of six Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicles from Clint Bowyer Autoplex for a total of nearly $218,000.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
