Four people have advanced to the finalist stage as the state works towards filling a brand-new magistrate judge position in Coffey County.
Finalists are:
*Cara Bowen, a legal assistant with the Allen County Attorney’s Office
*Kraig Kircher, a case manager at CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness
*Kara Reynolds, Coffey County Transportation executive director
*Rose Rice, a retired parole officer with the Kansas Department of Corrections
Interviews will take place Nov. 15 at the Coffey County Courthouse in Burlington. A decision could follow later in the week.
