Lyon County commissioners will discuss new equipment, a memorandum of understanding and a nonprofit update in Thursday’s action meeting.
Commissioners will consider a quote from Emporia Kenworth for a dump truck, snowplow and salt spreader for the Lyon County Highway Department. Estimated cost is almost $265,000.
Commissioners will also consider approving an MOU between Lyon County Community Corrections and Kansas Debt Recovery System.
An update on Empower House Ministries is planned, as is a resolution for a tax abatement case, commission and staff reports and three executive sessons.
The meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
