If you bought a Powerball ticket for Saturday night’s drawing, you need to check it if you haven’t already done so.
One ticket was bought in northeast Kansas — which could mean a winner in the north half of Lyon County, as well as Osage, Morris or Wabaunsee counties in the KVOE listening area. Winning numbers drawn Saturday were 7, 28, 62, 63 and 64, with the Powerball of 10.
The jackpot total was just under $93 million at the time of Saturday night’s drawing. Residents have the chance to claim the one-time annuity or the cash option, which in this case was over $47 million.
This is the first Powerball winner in Kansas since 2012, according to Kansas Lottery. The jackpot resets to $20 million for Monday night’s drawing.
